Conditions Update

With the fall weather upon us, I thought I would give you an update on the conditions at Narrows West. 

It has been a very busy spot lately with the construction crew working on lots of different areas.  The picture is just one of the fairways on the golf course that are being cleaned up and made to get ready for the spring, and seeding.

We are hard at work making sure that come spring the golf course will be as prepared as possible to keep moving ahead, as well as the driving range being open for the summer months to enjoy and test out. Also busy breaking ground where the future hotel will be going up, and with such a beautiful fall so far, we have been able to make lots of progress.

Also to continue with the good news, we just recently got approved for the recovery of the docking system.  Starting this week we will be putting on scuba gear, and going under the water to dismantle all of the docking system. It will spend the winter getting refurbished, so that we can put the scuba gear back on in the spring.  Looking more and more like next summer will be back to normal water levels, so we will all be able to enjoy the summer months at Narrows West. 

As well to keep on with the good news the channel widening is still carrying on as you can see if you check in with the Winnipeg Free Press.  The widening of the channel is well underway, and progressing rapidly.  http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/local/channel-progressing-secondary-one-in-works-131575453.html 

At Narrows West we are extremely excited about the progress of things, and are looking forward to next summer when things are starting to become more and more visible.  I know a lot of people can't see the progress of the golf course from the road, however keep you eye one things as we will be shooting a video soon that will give people a better look at things that you can't always see.
